A hand-painted oil portrait is a treasured memory that lasts a lifetime!  It will remain in the heritage of your children, and grandchildren who will remember of you! Unlike portraits painted with crayon or pencil on paper, oil on canvas is very durable, so your portrait will be easily preserved.

What is a portrait painting?

Portrait means a painting of a person's face in close-up up to the shoulders, not full-length. (No arms, legs, fingers, or clothing with ornaments.) The background of a standard portrait is monochrome or in color, with no specific objects in it, or landscapes in the background.

Of course anything can be painted, but the prices listed below are for a standard portrait type. Painting a landscape background, or the people in the painting full-length or 3/4 length is by agreement, as well as the additional elements.

All portraits are painted by hand, in oils by the artist Daniela Stoykova.

For all orders of portraits, after the conditions, terms and prices have been agreed accordingly, a deposit of 50% of the amount agreed is paid

Painting multiple faces in a small painting size, gets more difficult. Therefore, a portrait of more than 1 person in the size of 30/40 cm is not offered. When faces become very small, it becomes much more difficult to capture facial features.

Of course, it would be a good idea to estimate the size of the future oil painting and consider when to order it so that there is enough time for the oil paints to dry well before packing the portrait.

Time required for making a portrait by photo

The time required to produce an oil portrait is between 2 weeks to a month and a half, depending on the current busyness of orders. Keep in mind that oil paints dry slowly!

Technically, during the fall/winter season, it takes about 2-3 weeks for drying after the painting is completed until the final delivery of the portrait. In the spring-summer season this time is shortened to two weeks.
